Color, lighting and understanding how to showcase a property is at the core of the Staging process. During the original Occupied Staging Consultation and the final Photo Prep we worked alongside the homeowner to create a Staging plan that allowed the house to shine while keeping their timeframe, budget and lifestyle in mind.

The results speak for themselves…POOF! Under contract almost immediately!

Color, color and MORE color! Flowers provide an immediate connection, an immediate “shot of happy” if you will! Notice how the cheery color leads you straight to the front door enticing you to see more. While paint is money in a can inside, outside flowers rule!

When Staging a property it is imperative to not overwhelm the details of a space. Too many accessories; too many different colors and not understanding how the brain processes information can get in the way of a Successful Staging. By placing accessories meant to draw attention to the “money” of the room we achieve our goal of showcasing the assets of a property!

When working with a home that will be occupied during the selling process we turn the home sellers house into a “shopping center” to keep their Staging investment to a minimum. In this case the crafty homeowner reupholstered the barstools and a well-loved bench with a very current burlap material. Poof! Great update for a small investment! (After all, you want to save your money for your new place, right?)

Transitional spaces need to be considered during the Staging process, as well. Creating expectation and setting the tone for the tour can be met with careful placement of art containing colors found in the next room. Expectations are set!

Master bedrooms are key to the sale of any property. Placement of furniture, lighting, bedding….all these elements are crafted to create an implied lifestyle for the potential buyer. As shown here, the stories can be quite lovely!
